Technology Planning & Transfer

Without the relevant product or process technology to stay near the cutting edge, a company in the manufacturing sector will be out of business, sooner or later. The same holds true for real-time inventory control and material handling for distribution companies. Advancements in technologies move very rapidly in our world of today and quicker yet in the world of tomorrow. We no longer have the luxury of time to play catch up to smarter, faster-moving competitors. To survive, you need to make sure you have leading edge technology all around you:

  • For new product development
  • For manufacturing and production
  • For management processes
  • For each of above: Goals and plans

If you do not have the in-house capability you need, you must develop effective relationships with sources of such technologies. Regardless of your starting point, you must recognize the importance of technology and plan for it.

What JP-MC Can Offer to You
We can help you assess the level of technology you have and compare it to both the average level for your industry, as well as the cutting edge level. We can assist you in developing technology roadmaps for where you need to go, and design programs to develop or absorb such know how from external sources.

Our Successes – Associates of JP-MC
Our Advice is based on multiple experiences of directly managing Technology, including as CEO overseeing the transfer of technology in or from licensees, or other operation or countries. During creation of JP Industries, we regularly transferred technology across operations to those that needed advanced technology. In previous positions we were responsible for R&D management in energy, fluids, heat, and materials, as well as technology transfer from the laboratories to the operating divisions for commercialization.
